Roy's adventure

Help Support CattleToday:

Patty is not at all interested in chasing a ball or Frisbee. My wife's dog (Rufus)is a ball fetching maniac. She is worthless as a cow dog because she wont listen to me at all. We will be sitting on the deck with the wife throwing the ball for Rufus. Patty will be just sitting by us. When Rufus gets back with the ball Patty will jump up and take the ball away. Then she gives it to us. She isn't about to chase some stupid ball but she isn't going to let Rufus get any attention for returning the ball.

When I am changing the tarps in the irrigation ditches Patty always jumps in. It is a daily thing for me to yell at her to get off my tarp. This happens no matter what the temperature is. Then she hops on the back of the quad and shakes herself off. Which is really nice on a 36 degree morning.

Patty and Clyde the cat have a love/ hate relationship. If Clyde is out in the open between the barn and the garage and Patty spots him the race is on. Clyde has to make it to the barn, garage, or under a vehicle to escape. On the flip side of the coin I have seen Patty standing while Clyde rubs all over her. In the morning I have to go to the barn to feed the cats before I turn the dogs loose from the kennel. Other wise it is hard telling how long it will take them at getting a fair shot at getting to eat.

I went for my final PET/CT scan today and we're spending the night in Seattle. Roy only has 2 dog friends so the dog park was interesting 🤣🤣.
One thing for sure is don't yell or move fast around Mom 'cause Roy's faster and has an attitude. 🤣🤣 She set a couple people straight.

Had a Bluetick/Walker easy going dog got along with everyone. But if someone intruded into an area he didn't approve of or tried to take hold of one of the other dogs he would give them a good nip in a hindquarter. One thing his victims all agreed on was that it really hurt.

Three years and my Basil Cell Carcinoma tumor is gone, Dr says almost zero chance it will return or spread if it hasn't already. 145 different appointments in Seattle and I think we won. What an adventure!!
Great that you beat the cancer. But 145 appointments in Seattle......... I think the best to call that is a draw.
