Roy snuck out yesterday and grouped these 2 cows and calves up and held them for 10 minutes before I could retrieve her. I think she'll be a gem when I can get a good handle on her. Genetics are amazing!

she exhausted after a rafting trip on the Rouge River. I'm pretty sure this is her spot in the 5th wheel.

A little inflatable kayak time for Roy on Lost Creek lake (Actually a dam on the Rogue River). A bit smokey today.

Roy's first of hopefully many trips to the Pacific Ocean, Newport Oregon today. Razor clams opens late September so she'll spend some time at @Dave favorite spot digging!!

Unfortunately Dave gets to spend zero time at his favorite razor clam digging spot. But there are trade offs. Dave gets to spend zero time in Western Washington.

It was only foggy and mild 69 degrees, from Central Oregons 96 degrees it was a pleasant switch.

I love all the pictures of Roy, what a little bug she is! Thanks also for the pics of Crater Lake. I miss that area so much. We used to hike around there a lot. And the beach. I can still remember my last visit before we moved. I made hubby stay until after sunset so I could see just one more ocean sunset in my life... I will always remember it. Luckily, it was fairly nice weather that day, and there WAS a sunset, LOL!

Figured I better go for a quick 4 mile walk (since ill sit on my butt watching the Seahawks) and a little social time for Roy. She did well.

Great little trail along the waterfront looking out at PSNS Bremerton.

I had one calf to treat this morning. Patty wasn't exactly a great help. I want the calf to go right she is pushing it left. She went into the tub ahead of the calf and didn't want to come passed it to get out. I ended up running the dog up the alley and through the chute so I could get the calf to go that way. She will learn but today was not the day.

Roy loves running on the beach, while we wait for the tide to go out.

Digging razor clams at the beach is one of the few things I miss about western Washington. Patty would love it. Throw in a few seagulls and wide open beach to run on she would think she is in heaven.

Of course as soon as I fired up the truck to warm up and leave, here comes Roy covered in cat @#$^**^%!!!
She had just had a bath 2 days earlier and was pretty "fresh" still. Scrubbed a few stinky dogs in this tub.

Could have been worse!!! Ever smell a dog that's been rolling in a dead beaver carcass?
