I like using the round bales. I only have 6 head of cattle, so a couple of round bales last them 3 to 4 weeks. I buy them from a neighbor who delivers them for me. There seems to be more waste with the round bales, though. If you chose to use round bales, you'd need a way to haul them. On the other hand, the square bales need to be placed in a barn to prevent them from getting wet. It's like Chris says...it's really what works best for you.<br>
