Rond bale vs. Large square bale

Nah, we just throw them in the TMR mixer, just the same as round bales.
or into a bale feeder, same way we feed rounds.

I have dropped them into a round bale ring. And I have set then on the back of a flatbed which I put into granny and kicked flakes off as the truck idled across the field. I know two guy here who have a rig to feed the big squares. One is tractor pulled, the other is truck mounted. They hold 4 bales. A chain moves the bales forward. Once they slide on to the table in front a hydraulic arm slowly pushes them off to the side. They drop a flake about every 30 or 40 feet.

What I like about the square bales is the cattle get a square meal.
