Ring Worm

I bought a show calf at a college feeder calf auction in november and he came with what I am certian is ringworm. I have tried many different methods to get rid of it, and nothing seems to work. I treated him with Ivomec today incase it was mange. I would appreciate any input, I am truly at a loss, nothing seems to work HELP!!!!

Ringworm is a fungus. Unless you've used proper antifungals, you haven't really tried. Sure, I'll use Crest toothpaste if it's near an eye, but I won't cover the entire calf with it!! Proper treatment involves using a prescription product such as griseovulvin or enilconazole...everything else is much less effective....talk to your veterinarian!

> HELP!!!! Try using vagisal cream, used for women with yeast infections. It works, apply several times daily. Good luck
