ring worm in cattle

I was wondering how ringworm begins in cattle. I heard bulls are more of a carrier than heffers is this true? I personally think it starts from dirty barns.

What is the best treatement and should all of the cattle be treated?

> Thanks very much! Ringworm treatment. Bleach or Betadine No it is not dirty barns as Australians run all their cattle outside but we still get them on our cattle from time to time. All my cattle that have had ringworms are heifers can't remember my bulls having them
