Hi I am looking for a ride for 1 almost yearling heifer from Illinois to western Oklahoma or from Illinois to southern California. Or anywhere close. Will be more then willing to pay for fuel and ezpenses. Thanks for the help

Hi...can't personally help...but.... Check the advs. on <A HREF="http://www.livestockweekly.com" TARGET="_blank">www.livestockweekly.com</A> or <A HREF="http://www.cattletoday.com" TARGET="_blank">www.cattletoday.com</A> for possible haulers. Hope your heifer is valuable $$ wise; otherwise, transport costs can rapidly eat up value of an animal on that long of a trip. Even "piggy-back" loads can be costly. For "single hauls" (one or more animals on a special haul) going rate in Texas is anywhere between $1.25 and $1.75 per loaded mile, one-way. Good luck!
