"Live RFD-TV Broadcast On Checkoff Issue Set for June 1
The Cattlemen's Beef Board (CBB) and the Federation of State Beef Councils Division of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA) will hold a live-broadcast Satellite Forum on RFD TV to discuss Monday's Supreme Court decision upholding the beef checkoff's constitutionality.
The June 1, 9-10 p.m (EST) program will feature call-in questions from viewers (a telephone number will be provided on-screen) and a panel discussion. Panel members will include Al Svajgr, a Nebraska cattleman and CBB chairman; Monte Reese, CBB chief operating officer; and Myron Williams, a South Dakota cattleman and chairman of the Federation of State Beef Councils Division of NCBA.
The live RFD-TV broadcast can be viewed on: DISH Network Satellite Channel 9409 and DirecTV Satellite Channel 379, or check local listings for MediaCom Cable Systems and NCTC Cable Systems.
Repeats of the program will air on RFD-TV on: June 2, 9-10 a.m.; June 4, 7-8 p.m.; June 5, 10-11 p.m.; and June 6, 1-2 p.m. All times are Eastern Daylight Time.
