retaining fluids in a small calf

I have a calf that I bottle feed he's about 6 weeks old, He's is stating to look sickly and is retaining fluids. I can tell his stomach is getting bigger I been given him LA 200 for two days. Does any body no what could be happen to him?

Give him some electrolytes

when you say that he is retaining water does that mean he is not peeing at all. If this is the case he may be whats referred to as a water belly, Im not sure what age this starts effecting cattle at though. check out this site http://www.ianr.unl.edu/pubs/beef/g465.htm#symptoms<br>

I come to find out I think it could of have been the gain that I was feeding him I put him on oats and corn feed. I think that what make him bloat I put a tube down him and He seems to be a lot better. Thanks for all you help. But If anybody had the same reation from feeding a small calf corn and oats let me no?
