Restoring Paint

I was wondering if anyone has come across a way to restore faded paint on farm machinery. I have looked every where for a way to fix faded paint but come up empty. I tried Color Back but had poor results with it, turned my JD tractor's green paint to a yellow shade of green. :cry2:

A gallon of paint, some masking tape, and a spray gun does wonders for restoring faded paint...

Thats about the only way I know of doing it too. Did a 57 MF about 10 years ago, complete with all the decals... made it look brand new. Now, it looks like it did before I restored it.

I've got a couple of cousins that are all about shiny paint and chrome . They use a 3M foam pad on a polisher and a real fine polishing compound . It really does an amazing job of bringing old dull paint back .
