rent-a-chicken--$50/week

Help Support CattleToday:

100 rented out is $5000/wk.
Heck, for that much I wouldn't care if they didn't bring a single one back.

If ya could do that every week, that's $260,000/yr--lots better than the Chinchilla Ranch I was thinkin about a few years ago....

I'd hope they wouldn't bring them back!.. who knows what the 'late fees' are like on a chicken!

Now THOSE are expensive eggs!.. if she lays one a day that's $12.50 EACH EGG

But it is local raised, natural and stops climate change. And,, it IS Austin.

I know someone who gets $10 for each tomato plant he raises and cares for. People think its great. He likes it to. Almost a half acre under lease last I spoke to him.

When my wife was selling eggs and small livestock we had a pretty nifty little side deal going with three different photographers that would come out and borrow our lawn and a couple of babies of whatever animals we had on hand.
