renovating pastures

I am going to renovating a pasture that is mostly Centipede. Seeding back with bahia .Should I kill the Centipede with roundup or turn it under with a deep plow so the seed want come up?

Putting in a good seed bed will help establish any newly planted seed. After germination you may need to spray with a broad leaf weed killer. Plowing alone will not keep seed from coming up.
You could spray with roundup and then use a no till to plant.
