Remington Recall

Help Support CattleToday:

Remington Arms Company, LLC ("Remington") is voluntarily recalling Remington Model 700™ and Model Seven™ rifles which were manufactured from May 1, 2006 through April 9, 2014 and which have an X-Mark Pro® ("XMP®") trigger. Rifles manufactured after April 9, 2014 are not subject to recall.

all my remingtons are old so no not me. If you are referring to that recall.

I have two that fall in that category. I'm just gonna rip out the X-Mark Pro triggers and put Timney's in them. The factory triggers really suck anyway. Not near as good as the old walker designed triggers of the older 700's in my opinion.

I don't think mine meet the requirements as my newest one was made in 1956.
Are you sure you have a 700 CB? They didn't start making 700's until 1962. Maybe you have a 721 or 722 model? Those were started in the late 40's. I love the older Remington's.

I don't have a 700 mine date from the 19 teens to the 50's.
My newest Remington is a 552 speedmaster made in the 50's.

Have not yet decided what I am going to do.

I have eight of the SF Limited's to send back.

May also choose the Timney route.
