this is old news and some of you may have seen this but for those of you who haven't......
for game days at texas a&m, most of the aggie fans wear maroon shirts to "maroon out" the rival teams' fans. after 9/11, a group of students decided to try to have a&m show their patriotism by having a "red, white & blue out". in just 11 days they organized it & sold 70,000 t-shirts. the message was spread mostly by word of mouth & e-mails between the current students & former students. the picture below is what the stadium looked like that day......very emotional & an incredible show of patriotism. (i was in the blue section :lol: & the little section on the oppsite side first deck are corps members in their uniforms)
