red black DUN angus

Has any one herd or got any information about DUN Angus ?
Some article I have seen referred to a doctor in scotland who was collecting Dun angus in about 1928. They were pure and not completely unknown back then. :?

I thought our Dun angus breeder might take a stab at this but its just been sitting here all day.
I suppose the dun they refer to is color...like a dun horse.
The red angus association is half full of dun colored cattle.
That red/gold/tan color is what we called dun in the horse business.
Maybe they quit keepin track of them when they became part of the red angus group.
Pay no attension to me, I may be drunk.
