I have been doing a bit of reading and research on the Red Angus breed and I like some of the things that hvae been touted as their strengths. For those of you with experience in the Red Angus breed, where would you recommend a person based in Indiana go to obtain good genetics to start a top notch herd? I have some background in the show ring, but need to balance the eye appeal and stuff with good performance and carcass quality to try to sell seedstock as well as replacement and F1 heifers and bulls to commercial guys in Indiana. I would like to start out small and build up to 30 to 50 head if I can find the space to allow me to do it.
