Help Support CattleToday:

No, not really for free...or even very low cost. We use a very good software program produced by CattleMax. Go to their website: Our version is "LonghornMax". You can track numerous data on their programs, including loading photos of your herd, printing out pedigree charts, sale advertisements, and much more.

Bottomline: you get what you pay for.

Check with your county extension agent about BQA. I was given a copy of the Mid-atlantic BQA handbook this past weekend. It has sample record forms for what is required for BQA records in my area. Your state most likely has a Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) program and has sample forms for information you need to keep track of.
