REALLY REALLY Strange question

OK. This is my first time preparing "Calf Fries". Nobody around here to show me so.... I have to ask: When cleaning the nuts I removed the tough white layer, pulled off what I think was the vas deferens and cut off the epididymus but there is a little piece of what looks like muscle attached to the top. My question is.... is this good to eat or do you cut it off? Thanks for your help.

You might as well eat it. If you are going to eat the calf fries, any added accessories should be welcome.

Butterfly it and take out the "internals", in addition to the casing you mentioned. Once you do it, you'll know. There will be nothing but meat left.

Deep fried is best.
