Took some pics this past week.

We put the cows/heifers and calves in the back pasture, but we left our old blind cow and one that is close to calving and the cancer eye cow and calf in with the bull.

The rest of the cows were going crazy over the fresh new grass -- AND THE SALT!! you would think we didn't even give them any salt in the front pasture..

Dad re-painted the hay rake...looks pretty good when it's back together -- I'll have to get a pic of that later..

This heifer has lost her bangs tag....that doesn't happen very often does it? she is the 1st one we've ever had to loose their tag...and her left eye isn't always looking off in some other direction lol

Sorry for the subjects in the pics but that's how I take pics lol....the land really isn't as open as it looks...just the trees in the pasture have been clear for a very long time

Thanks for the pics once again. Here in Australia we have no deciduous trees that are native to the country. The only trees that can be seen in parts without leaves are willows. Any others are introduced. So we have lots of evergreen trees throughout our countryside.
If anyones interested to see some of the area in which I live look up "tenterfield" on google. Its mainly granite type country, beef cattle,tourism,sheep and wine. Most of the area is 800 to 1400 metres above sea level.
