Rain/Mud

It is hard to believe we are living in northeast Montana...Last night it rained- temp at 6 AM was 34 degrees and at noon it was a sunshiney 50 with 20-30mph NW Chinook winds...Saw 52 here this afternoon- but down in the breaks the temps hit the 60's..What little snow we still had in the river valley is now water, mud or ice...

Went to build a gate this morning- but after slipping and sliding around in the mud- decided I'd wait til a colder day... ;-)

Long range forecast says this pattern could last thru mid January ! :banana:

The daughter and her husband were home from Musselshell for the holidays. For kicks one day I checked the weather to see what she was missing. It was warmer in Billings than in Seattle. But our December drought is now over as of yesterday. Raining like crazy now so we will be sending weather your way soon. Got to love that winter mud......

Just talked to a friend who was driving across North Dakota said it was raining and 39 degrees.

yeah yall got it rough when your not used to dealing with mudd.when you should have snow on the ground an frozen.
