Average rainfall for us in NE Alabama is 58 inches and 2 of snow . Don't know how you folks in dry / desert 🏜 areas do it . Especially raising cattle/ sheep .

Mr TC just talked to his cousin in Pisgah. Much needed rain! BTW, we'll be heading that way in a few weeks.

Went thru the first thunderstorm since I've been here in Central Texas. Fairly severe with 3' or bigger hail about 50 miles west and 55 miles north of me but we just got a good soaking with a few pebble sized hail. Wind blew, rain fell in torrents but the power didn't flicker even once. So strange tho, to see so much rain fall and it all run off somewhere instead of building up in giant pools...

Getting more today /Wednesday. I did get my yard mowed before it started. Looks like it's going to rain all day .
