So far this month we've had more rain then all of last month. If this keeps up we may nibble into the over 12 inches we're behind for the year.

we haven't had any this month....but we did get 2.2 on July 30-31 which made about 3 inches since June 30. Been a pretty wet summer compared to the last half dozen or so.

It's hit and miss here. Two miles west we got 1" here at the house none in the gauge. We needed the rain at the house, not where we were pulling corn.

Dun, what is your usual rainfall? Here 7 is a dry year, 12 is a wet year, since calving time we've had about 2-3, and what came down in 1 good rain about Jul 24th was all that made anything wet, anything less than 1" gets burnt off by the afternoon

Normal is 43 inches. Very thin soil (laugh here) mostly rock and heavy clay.

September is usually our wettest month.. started off good. we got 1.25 inches so far.
