Can someone tell me again how to quote what someone else has typed, my friend showed me how to do it once but I wasn't watching real good.

Click on the quote in the upper right corner of the post that you want to quote from.

Do I start typing in front of or behind quote words?

A new window will open. Space (return key) down from the last character in the message you're quoting and start typing. When finished hit "submit" at the bottom of the page.

Of course first attempt will probably be wrong.
