I have seen several messages which give emergency electrolyte information. My first question involves an emergency electrolyte solution which recommends the use of beef consome. I am concerned because of the info I have seen about mad cow disease that the use of this would be the same as feeding processed beef protein to cattle. Do I have any reason to be concerned about this? Also, I am trying to find out if giving gatorade to a weak calf would be of any use at all(will it be absorbed at all). Thanks!
