an angus plus is an angus-brangus cross. the angus plus is 13/16 angus 3/16 brahman.

the brangus supreme is the same thing as an angus plus.

Angus plus is a program sponsored by hte Red Angus Association. Angus plus is a minimum of 50% angus, red or black, the remainder is Brahman. But the percentages of Brahman can vary depending on the requirements of the individual breeder.

The Angus Plus was developed by two gentlemen, Glen Brinkman and Michael Wooten of Rock Brook Ranch in Montalba, TX. They started an association which I was an orginal member. They later found the Red Angus Association was interested in proforming the computer work so they formed an partnership that developed into what it is today. Wooten has now crossed the orginial Angus X Brangus (Angus Plus) back to Angus and his cattle get out of the sun now, just like Angus.
