I have a stupid question: What exactly is "non-fed beef"?

I'm asking 'cause they refer to boneless cuts, and then revert back to non-fed beef, and I got pretty confused. :?:

Been through the feed lot vs heading to the feedlot. Been on a grain/finishing ration to prepare for slughter.

I think non-fed means it wasn't sent to the feedlot in Canada. They were either killed without being on feed or sent out of the country to a feedlot.

Cows and bulls and anything else thats sole purpose was not meat for slaughter.
