i have a steer, now what im about to say is not what i saw, but what my brother did see. he said he saw a pusy-like substance coming from the rectum of our steer. it was a white-ish color. we had one of our friends come take a look at it, he said he had a calf that had the same problem but he couldnt remember what it was. do any of yall might know what it could be? its been goin on since about friday, and its now monday. and we just recently taken them off feed.

ummmmm....... is there a lonely bull in with it

Is the steer healthy looking and acting?

no theres no lonely bull, but thats the color my brother described it as, if you get my drift. and yes, its healthy as it has been. we just gave it a whole tube of probios last night.

just a shot in the dark, but is he sure it was pus? if not, make sure it's not tape worms.
