Question about Ford 5000 tractor

My Ford 5000 shows an engine oil capacity of 8 quarts but that doesn't put iit all the way to full on the dipstick. Should I add more and get it to full or just put 8 qts when changing the oil?

Sure you have the original dipstick and/or oil pan?

I can't remember off the top of my head the reccomended fill, but I do know that whatever it says in the manual is what I put in, and it tops off perfectly.
