What kind of things should I look at for a used fuel tank with a stand, I'm looking at it for the first time on sunday? It has a small amount of Diesel in it now, but ad says new hose, filter and nozel.... any thoughts?

No sharp dents, rust looking spots or wetness from the nozzle to the tank.

seems like the first place they rust out is around the bung where the nozzle goes in and the bung on the bottom where the drain is

like Dun said check for wet spots and don't be afraid to take a screwdriver or pocket knife and poke around on the seams, around the bungs and on the bottom centerline of the tank

Ashamed your not close to me, I have a perfectly good, but old, diesel tank just sitting in the pasture not being used. Diesel is so expensive, and I don't really use too much that I just fill up with my 6 gallon jugs. The diesel supplier around here has a 200 gallon minimum and I ain't going there.
