Yep, it sucks. There is no nice way to say it. I had to put one down 2 years ago, broke his back leg somehow. More than likely fighting as he was with the other bulls. It had to be done, I didn't want to do it, but did it anyway. Felt sick all night, even though I know I did the right thing. Wife said she had never seen me so "troubled" by something quite that bad before.

Part of the game we all play.
 
Sorry for your loss TN.. it's tough when you try everything you can and still have to resort to that! You did do the right thing, and he isn't suffering, so you can feel good about that part. Of course the economic loss is hardest to bear! And having to find a replacement...
 
sorry that you had to put your null down.but you did the right thing.from what i read i knew he would never get up again.
