I was looking at it from the angle of the folks that can't get to their cattle daily. It's to dark, 30 mile drive one way etc. I happen do agree with you, but we don't supplement our cows anyway. That 1/4 lb a day they get to get them up to the feed bunk to check them out doesn't to me seem hardly worth their effort. But they always come runnin for that taste.
