When I was in S. Korea in 1985 there was a woman cooking in a WOK like implement on the street. Big crowd. Smelled great. She was frying this white stuff called Ban Dagee (sp). It was served in a snow cone like funnel. Tasted great. Found out after the fact it was FRIED SILK WORMS.

OK, I think Dun has won the prize for most (as in quantity) unusual things eaten. :clap: Dun, how did you come across eating so many different things?

IMO, most meat animals are herbivores, so horse seems like an obvious meat animal. I have never ate horse or even ever had the chance but I can understand the reason why pepole don't want to eat horse, but cows have done 'service' to humans as long as horses have, yet no one (except PETA people) have a problem eating beef. If cow is beef, what is horse called?

Ate Llama meat at a local fair last year. Nothing to write home about. Reminded me of mutton (not my all time favourite food).
