Lets hope not. i think it was Alan Nation or someone like that who said that "one must find an unfair advantage" to be profitable in the cattle. Personally I can see a lot of truth in this as I am pretty sure that a $10,000 investment in cattle would be better spent on a zero turn radius mower. BUT, I have recognized several unfair advantages I have over some people. Without these advantages, raising cattle would be futile. I'm sure most all others on the board have their own unfair advantages as well. These unfair advantages vary as widely as there are variables in one's operation but without these advantages I doubt any of us would raise cattle for any length of time.

These advantages could be anything from marketing to free feed and fertilizer but the sky is the limit.
