We bred a heifer on 5/5/06 with timed breeding because she had trouble breeding on natural heats. The problem now is that she is in standing heat today which is 21 days after her last normal heat. Did she take when we bred her on friday and is now just showing a false heat? Or if we were to breed her tonight and she was pregnant, would it cause her to abort? Thanks.

I don't think it would hurt to breed her. If you are using inexpensive semen I would breed her again tomorrow.

Breed her tonight. She obviously didn't ovulate to the timed synch breeding.
