Thought I would add some pics of the prime rib I made a few days ago. I even did a mire poire for it . :D

Mire poix (ran out of celery so used hubby's caesar rim spice instead ;-) )

I seared the roast before adding it to the mire poix

Yorkies, not my best creation I thought I had mastered them but.... They tasted really good .

Served it with green beans from the garden and fire roasted mini Benji potatoes and of course a bottle of Cabernet . :tiphat:

It is cold and blowing snow here now so I have a pot of broccoli/cauliflower jalapeno cheese soup on the go and homemade buns for dinner tonight. Added lots of jalapenos so it should take the chill off ,if it doesn't set ya on fire first . :cowboy:

Looks like you're there as far as I'm concerned. Yummy stuff!

HD, you really should post a warning before you put up pictures of your cooking creations so I can put a towel over my keyboard! That all looks and sounds just too darned good. OMG, the beef!!! What are "Yorkies?" They look delicious. Oh wait, Yorkshire pudding things or something? (I bet that's what they are, but didn't catch on until I noticed that it's capitalized!)

Holy moly that looks good!
If you want to know about brisket ask joe. That boy does em right

That does look good. I think if I had a last meal that would be it! Prime rib is my favorite of all dishes. I can tell by the color on the inside it was delicious. I've had the yorkshire pudding once. Not exactly what I expected a "pudding" to look like but I sure could eat that whole tray of em if given a chance. Again, great job!

I knew better to click on this thread. Dammit HD, I just ate supper and now I'm drooling :p . The biscuits look good but I don't think I'd want Yorkie in em. Little things don't look like they have much meat on em anyway.

HD since you can cook like that be glad we dont live close.because id be over for supper everytime you cooked like that.that dish looks so yummy.

Thanks everyone :) Wish you all were closer too, as would love to have you all over for dinner, make it pot luck, I will make the rib roast and someone does pulled pork, smoked brisket and smoked butt .. Will need some of that arsenic and poison as well

Plus unlimited Becks on tap .

Forgot to tell them to cut a couple of PR roasts in my butchering instructions . :(
