priest and a cowboy

half drunk cowboy goes in a diner and plops down on a stool next to a priest..
stinking like whiskey, needing a bath,,, lipstick all over his shirt
cowboy picks up the news paper ,,,and begins to read it.
after a few minutes he looks up and ask...
father what causes arthritis?
priest looks at him and says, it caused by loose living,
being with cheap evil women ,,to much alcohol,and poor hygine..
the cowboy says, i'll be dam,, then looks back at his paper..
the priest feeling bad about his answer said,
im sorry how long have you had arthritis??
cowboy said i dont,, but it says here that the pope does

I can think of a few Popes in history that this probably fits very well. Keep in mind that priest only take a vow of celibacy ..... not "total abstinence". :lol:
