I HAVE A COW THAT HAD A CALF IN JAN. 2003 AND SHE HAD ANOTHER IN SEPT. 2003. SHE HAD TO HAVE BEEN BRED BACK A FEW DAYS AFTER DELIVERY AND HAS HAD THIS ONE EARLY. THE CALF SEEMS FIND BUT IS SMALL. THIS IS HER 6TH CALF AND HAS ALWAYS GIVEN PLENTY OF MILK, BUT SINCE IT IS EARLY SHE ISN'T GIVING VERY MUCH MILK. MY QUESTION IS, WILL HER MILK COME DOWN AND WHEN WILL IT? I AM GIVING THE CALF A BOTTLE ALONG WITH LETTING IT NURSE HER.

Not much help, but yes it will or no it won't. They will usually come into more milk then they calve with but not as much as she would normally have. Some never build it up until the next calving. Time will tell. You may be able to give her oxytocin to help stimulate it some.
