So how soon after you pull your bull out of the herd can you safely have them pregnant checked? Don't want to be feeding cows that aren't going to give me another calf.

A decent palpater can check them at 45 days. Far enough along to tell for sure and far enough along tto most likely not harm the pregnancy. Blood tests you can tell earlier but you won;t have any idea how far along they really are.

A good palpater can tell at 35 days, an ultrasound tech can tell at 28 on cows and 25 on heifers
