Posting from a differant PC

I post from work, when I try it at home I can't log in. I can go to the site but I can't log in to post. I havn't found any information on this through searching. While I was reading through some of the old post I did see Dun posting as "dunmoving" I take this as you can't log in from a differant computer, or am I wrong. Just wandering am I missing something or is something missing me.

I log in on a laptop when away from home and have never had any problems. Maybe pm Macon...he can probably help ya.

If you use a different browser at home than at work,or if you have the security levels set different, that may be your trouble. I log in both places too. I never have trouble with Internet Explorer,but if I try to use the browser that came with my el cheapo internet service,I can't log on either. It seems to try,then takes me back to the log in again. I've tried all kinds of things to make it work-no go. If I just fire up IE,no more problem. Good Luck.

Sounds like the browser thing may be my problem. It does act like it logs me in as chuck said but I really ain't. I'll try firing up IE at home. We use IE at work. We are on a network, any computer within this network I can get on. I use AOL at home. Sounds like you are on to something. I'll give it a try.

Better yet, just run Mozilla firefox. Much better.

I run mozilla at home, and IE on the laptop. Still don't have your problem.

I use AOL at home.

The AOL browser sucks. IE should also be on your computer. Use it instead.

AOL here too. Guess that's the problem thanks for the heads up I'll try it. I think it may also be the "cookies" on AOL as well...I can log in at home, but not on My AOL at work...

I know this sound bad, me posting from work. I am a maintenance electrician. We have thousands of computers here and all of the equipment runs on them. I am pretty much logged on somewhere all the time at work. Besides if everthing is running I don't have much to do. I actually have more time at work than I do at home. I have to admit I have a great job that I enjoy, I just hope it last another 19 years till retirement.
