Tire is repaired. Also found out why the tpms fault error is lit on the dashboard. Whoever replaced tires last time didn't put the sensors back in the wheels. That will be $40 each when tire place gets some in and doesn't include labor and 'relearn,' process. Oh well, it's just money.

Lucky I guess that it went flat sitting in the driveway but unlucky that I discovered it Saturday afternoon after all the local tire places had closed. I just didn't feel like jacking the thing up, lowering that spare down from under the truck and fighting getting the wheel to break loose from the hub in a driveway that slopes. I see what's in it, some kind of fastener it looks like, maybe a odd looking big rivet. I'll air it up and it will make it long enough to get to the tire shop thiis morning. Small potatoes in the bigger scheme of problems.
I do the same thing... air it up and drive 1 1/2 miles to the co-op and let them fix it...

No pics but twisted the driveline on the bushhog last week. Yesterday I had to go get a load of pipe and gates so thought I'd drop the driveline off to get it fixed. While I was being loaded the guys called that driveline was fixed. When I headed out I was thinking they should have loaded pipe different because trailer was pulling so heavy. Sure enough had a blowout right before I pulled into drivline shop. The guys set the driveline on the flatbed against the siderail and I thought better move it so it won't fall off after I fix the flat. Guess what no spare but no problem because trailer repair shop is quarter mile down the road. Got to trailer shop and saw driveline had fell off. Borrowed shop owners pick up to look for it and it was gone. Couldn't have been 10 minutes and someone picked it up. So $447 to repair driveline, $1,350 for new driveline, plus a tire. Get home and track idler is out on skidsteer and Ranger has broken axle. Could be worse I guess. Should have snapped some pics. That dang Ranger axle didn't want to come out today but finally got it.

got off the skid loader and noticed a nice coolant leak. tore into it.. a piece of bark got into it and put a nice hole in it. i pulled the bark out and it started pouring. hard hose to replace so it'll get patched.

Update: Bought a new driveline for the bushhog and it's working better and smoother than before. I did find a twisted output shaft on the 3way splitter gearbox so got that on order. We'd been looking at a new gooseneck to upgrade the old one for the last year or so and finally bought a 28' flat deck lo pro tandem dual w/ full ramps. This trailer pulls so much better than the old single tandem regular height. Hopefully flats won't be such a pull over now deal too.The skidsteer idler is getting worse but haven't had time to order the part yet. Thinking about selling the Ranger, tired of axle issues. Does anyone have a Kubota 850GX?

Walmart can install them and much cheaper than the local tire store

Yeah, but they don't have a good stock of tires like our tire store does, an for some reason, around here Walmart doesn't carry many light truck tires. Maybe because there are so many thousands of soldiers living here and most don't drive pickups.

My tire man where I buy said I needed the sensor $110.00 He said I will do it when I get them in stock drove over to walmart and asked if they did sensors and they said yes and had them in stock $65 installed and they broke down the tire on the truck and installed the sensor.

I have a 2020 850XG with 8000 miles and haven't had any problems.

We have a 1100crtv with 2000 trouble free miles on it. We did break a front and back axle but the pain was self induced. Thinking we'll try the 850 if I can get the wife up there to test drive one.
850 is a gas unit right? might be filling that up a lot, not sure how fast those gas utvs run through it.

Yes it's a gas unit. The diesel is nice but it's slow and we need something faster for allot of things. The Ranger 1000xp we have is a gas guzzler. My wife uses it quite a bit but just pokes around mostly and say it uses 7 gallons a week. She probably puts 10-15 miles a week on it.

I have a 1100 kubota air heat and power steering only problem is the radiator has to be cleaned often or it will over heat. I also have a kubota UTV 500 that I broke the front differential because I installed tires that were 1 inch larger in diameter. On the 500 I have a flat bed and a trip hopper junior mounted mainly the keep the cows out of my hip pocket when feeding. I have a ten foot long cargo trailer that I buy a ton for range cubes on pallet and feed out of it into the trip hopper. I only have to handle the bags of cubes one time.

thats a lot of fuel. i picked up some quads for some speed tasks but really don't use them. after using a utv for years its not very fun to ride a quad. thinking of selling them and picking up a can am defender.

We have a 2012 Honda Rancher that we bought new. I doubt it has 300 hrs on it. I bought it for a lease place we had back then. It never gets ridden because the SxS are so much better. The grandkids do ride it some but very little. Thought about selling it but it's like new and only worth $2,500 or so.

I use my 4 wheeler all the time. It's more nimble and can get around places a sxs can't go. It's also much lighter and floats over the ground.
