I took the kids to Yellowstone in 1994. Clear across WA, ID, into western WYO. Up into Yellowstone and then into western Montana. Crossed the ID panhandle. When we crossed the Priest River there is a sign saying welcome to WA. The youngest one let out a big sigh and said "it is great to be back in the land of the free."When I was a very small child and looked at the states on a colored map, each state was a different color. The first time my Mom told me we were going to Arkansas, I was excited to see a different colored state. When we crossed the state line, I was very disappointed as it was the same color as Tennessee. Green.
yeah, well...Good luck with that.If I was smart I would hire some teenager to dig out my ditch.
turn off the power and flip it manually or use a insulated screw driver and flip it. might just be stuck or might need replaced.I just got in from corrugating my field and have no water. Why do things like this always happen on a weekend. I checked the pressure tank and it had no pressure, so I got out the air hose and pressured it up, but that does not seem to be this issue. I think it was last year I replaced the pressure switch. I'm not sure if I should try replacing the pressure switch.
The pressure gage under the pressure switch has not pressure at all.turn off the power and flip it manually or use a insulated screw driver and flip it. might just be stuck or might need replaced.
is it hot (both legs) going to the pressure switch? The pressure gage under the pressure switch has not pressure at all.
Look for a crack in the pipes or slow leak first. But may need a new solenoid. The pressure gage under the pressure switch has not pressure at all.
I didn't see any. I think the pump went out.Look for a crack in the pipes or slow leak first. But may need a new solenoid.
Start at the breaker, then the pump control and capacitor. I usually find the capacitor smoked and sometimes the blue module next to it as well. Last time the capacitor was bad, but no smoke and didn't even stink like an electrical fire. Had a spare and was back up and running in 10 minutes. The water has been surging for awhile. I tried to find the breaker for the pump which I think should be 240 volts, but have not found a breaker marked for the pump. Thought maybe it could have tripped. Tomorrow I will get my voltage meter out and check if I have voltage. Dad had a new pump put in about twenty years ago. At least I don't have livestock in the corral. The only place I have running water is in the stock tank in the water gap. I hope the cows don't mind sharing; went at got a couple five gallon buckets with water to flush the toilet.
Fire ants tend to mound around the pressure switch here. They either get dirt or ant bodies in the contact points. If not that, the switch gets a build up that prevents connection. I carry ant killer and an emory board to manage either situation... with the power off of course.I just got in from corrugating my field and have no water.
