Went to Walmart and bought a couple Halloween skeletons. Then went to a thrift store to buy cloths to dress them up. Set them back in the willows nest to a road. Have solar lights set up. Stood them up with t posts.
Now that's fun! Couple that lives west of us on 160 has a giant skeleton with a skeleton dog that they keep out year 'round and decorate according to season or holiday. Currently still sporting tie dye for the Bluegrass festival a few weeks ago.

My herd broke into the hay barn earlier this year, not for the hay but just to wreck stuff up and maybe the shade. Lol.

I went across the barn lot with a sorting stick ready to Babe Ruth each cows head off (this was the second time they done this) and they all came running out of the barn. Well all but the one calf that got stuck between some round bales and boards.

Fox squirrel 🐿️ ?
It's my understanding that the melanistic gene is usually passed on to an eastern gray squirrel (I always called them cat squirrels) from a fox squirrel…fox squirrels are very common here…cat squirrels are fairly common here but not as much as fox squirrels…both have ranges that extend into east Texas…black ones are normally seen more often in cities…they don't last long in the woods because they are so easily seen by predators…black squirrels are about 1 in 10,000 so somewhat rare…this one has reached adulthood out in the woods on my place…don't know how he lasted that long…we've got lots of owls and red-tailed hawks that would snap him up in a second given the opportunity

Cat squirrels is what we always called those things too. Not much meat on them either. Yep, Eastern grey.

Fox squirrels have a kinda mask look on their face.
