Retreads used to be relatively common on passenger cars and light trucks. Nowadays a lot of semi tire carcasses are gathered and sold to be retreaded. Last I heard they were worth about $120 bucks. That was a while ago though, so they are probably worth a lot more now.

Kid that works for us part time was supposed to doze the bale area but sent me this pic. Had to load a bucket of cubes and lure the entire herd away & to the central pasture so he didn't run over the group that was congregating at the bucket.

Looks like a group of protestors and the cow on the left appears to be telling them to hold their ground.

Never saw mamma. Just moved it to the edge of the field. Figured mamma would be back shortly.
