Kenny do you remember the spreader trucks with canvas hoods on the back to spread rock phosphate? It was horribly dusty when spreading with a regular fertilizer spreader.
 
Its almost like it was built to keep the high waves from rushing inland in a storm. But you can't fill a thimble with what i know about a beach.
It definitely is. They are very picky about the dunes. They have a whole deal about how the seaweed decomposes and fertilizes the grass that protects the dunes and so on. They don't manicure that beach like other places. It's supposed to be kept natural.

This is looking directly west across the island to the bay. Very pretty, in its own way. Those specs are deer.

Be real careful with that Boron fertilizer. A little might be good. But just a little more can sterilize the soil. I wouldn't use it unless absolutely necessary.
