A challenge to try to get hay dried and baled in the spring before the rain. Lots of hay in that barn. Not mine.

And a challenge to contain that fire from going places. Wow. Terrible!

Just grass or hay. My cows get a little feed just during AI breeding. That is November and December. A little is a couple pounds a day. Cows that need feed to prosper are not welcome here

I cropped the photo to just show the hay/fire. Very close to that barn are some high dollar facilities (hundreds of thousands $$$). And lean-to's on both sides of the barn with lots of equipment. That hay and barn were the lower dollar items in the big picture as far as risk. As far as I know, the barn and hay were the only loss.

I've been hauling bulls around the last couple days. Took a few pictures along the way to share with you guys. I wish I'd taken more. I should have taken some of Glenwood Canyon and when I was in Wyoming between Cheyenne and Laramie. Pretty country.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. It has been years since I have been through Kremmling and Waldon. Although I have to say I have never been to Leadville or over Fremont pass, but I have been over Rabbit Ears pass lots of times.

I didn't notice any difference. I may have if I would have if I would have went for a hike. I've lived at 8,000 feet or more all my life.
