You do concrete for a living? Or small engine repair for a side hustle?

I work on mostly 2 cycles, but not near as much I use to. It is very relaxing. My dad-built houses/ barns etc. including my house and I was usually the flunky, but that has been a few years ago.

I also garden a little as this is one of my gardens from last year. I do this by myself including the farming/cattle. My son lives 30 miles from me and his job keeps him pretty busy. He helped me rake hay one time last year.

I also can a lot and the wife helps, but her jobs is pretty demanding. Posted a few pictures of this.

I worked with the state of Kentucky in a Juvenile correctional facility (29 years total time as needed 27 years.) I tried my best to help the kids and never touched a juvenile the time there (probably a record within the state). They had problems and one thing I learned their recovery time was usually longer that the average person. The boys ages 13-18 with a lot basically orphans from all over the state.

Yes, on the Trent, I am kin to a lot in your area and my wife even more. My grandparents came from Hancock. Got my DNA checked through 23 and me and my wife's brother have several markers that line up with mine. Been to a couple grave site services at the road I think close your property. The last Jud-y Hurley.

My Papaw is Rev Carl Dalton. Mamaw was Wilma Lawson. Mom is Pamela Dalton. I'm Kin to just about everyone in that cemetery and up and down this valley. Pretty sure my Papaw and Mamaw were 3rd cousins.

Oh, you're such a whiner. Talk to the forum but not to my face.

I'm posted pics and you either missed them or don't remember. And after asking @jltrent he posted some great pics and we had a really nice conversation. You'd have to ask him if he thought there was any 'snipe' involved. You probably missed that conversation too.

If you go back you'll see that there was a conversation about the videos long before I approached @jltrent and all I did was invite him to participate with original content. Now I, and others, know more about him and can appreciate what he's doing. The guy has a beautiful place.

You'll notice I've never asked you to post pics. Probably because I have this mental image of how you are surrounded by neighbors with molehills but your place is extremely mountainous.

On the FB I am on it very little, but anymore if you want to know any local news that is it. The newspapers are going downhill. My neighbor died and not in any newspapers and if not for FB I would not have had a clue. I am not a BS type of guy, so FB is for local news and marketplaces is just a big place to buy and sale without the middleman.

I have very few friends on there and if one was to unfriend me I will not lose any sleep.

Maybe that is the reason I can't watch the videos. I just found out I can watch them (most of them?) on my lap top here at work, but I have to close the popup that tells to log-in or create an account. Then I have to reduce the size display down to 70% so it fits my screen. I have blamed it on my lack of

I believe you are right about that. I have never met them myself. I don't think Bug would know who i was if we walked past one another, but I always wave when I see him.

I love the pictures that you post of your farm and family. The Sd and Ark refers to the complaining person that lists both states as there location.

Agree. Amazing to me the idea that some seem to have - looks like trying to tell people what to post, how to post, when to post. There are some things and some people and some content here that might be candidates for "ignore". But jltrent is not one of those. He is a very talented guy. And maintains his equipment second to none. And been here a long time with lots of posts with good content. And apparently is way more polite than some others.

I did no such thing. I stated I liked most of his posts and merely explained why I and others couldn't see some of his posts.
Admittedly, I have no use for facebook, IG, X, Threads, or 99% of the other social communication apps out there today.
