You will find the same positive and negatives in both. The horned guys will claim that the polled ones are all inferior, and in the past they did tend to be that way. Folks originally started selecting strictly for polled and didn't care about the other traits, now they select for all traits just like the horned folks do. Polled Hereford calves tend to be a little easier being born ecause of the shape of the head.
