Just this week, John Kerry commenced his "Days of Malaise Tour," trying to convince voters they are again living through the Great Depression--despite the reality that our economy is experiencing some of its strongest growth in decades, homeownership is at a record high and manufacturing employment is at a 30-year high.

And President Bush's approval rating on the economy has increased a net 9 points over the last month to the same place President Clinton was in 1996.

John Kerry's pessimistic strategy is depressing his own party.

Since he secured the nomination, 23 Democrats have switched parties and prominent Democrats in Florida, Georgia, Utah, Kansas and Louisiana have refused to endorse him.

In South Dakota, House candidate Stephanie Herseth laughed when asked if Senator Kerry would campaign for her.

It is a sharp contrast to the optimism we hear from President Bush. I was in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a Victory 2004 meeting this week and it's not just the President who is optimistic.

We discussed our Party's 4W Test Drive: an 11-day nationwide effort to identify and mobilize key activists like you in election-like conditions. We kicked the tires on our voter registration drives,
checked the oil at our phone banks and revved the engine of our national get-out-the-vote program.

We are constantly testing and improving our methods for achieving victory, and I'm excited to tell you that today's Republican Party is bigger, stronger and more effective than ever.

We will win in November because we have better ideas and policies that show our confidence in the American people. We will win in November because of the work people like you are doing now laying the groundwork for success.

Sincerely,
Ed Gillespie

Yes but how long are they gonna keep their promise to keep the strong economy in America? Seems like more hot air from Bush....if he get reelected again, no sooner is he in office again, the economy will fall into a depression AGAIN. Additionally, gas prices will raise AGAIN. Both Bush AND Kerry are wrong.... We aren't in a depression nor are we in a surplus (we would if we didn't waste our time and resources in Reconstruction Iraq: The American Way. We should be on the path of Demolition al-Qaeda: The Free World Way. Both candidates are losing track of their original campaigning...the War on Terrorism! Wake up and smell the lillies y'alls (whichever parties you are in). Our country is getting overrun with filth (the ragheads) the war should be on Iran, Saudi Arabia, here, Mexico, and Canada (Mexico and Canada are our buddies, they need some help!). Thats all folks.
