Good one melking. :D
Bigfoot... touching is the word. I don't think anyone that's ever had their kid on a retired good one could read that and not have some warm and fuzzy feelings.

Love that one Melking.

Bigfoots poem really hits me in the heart because I gave up my old rope horse so my daughter could learn to rope and there is nothing like the feeling of seeing your favorite girl win on your favorite horse.

Very cool to see men with a passion for writing poetry.
I personally don't have a passion for it. I get certain images and thoughts stuck in my head and they rattle around for awhile and come out later. If I ever got around to carrying a notepad with me and writing it down as it hits me my stuff would be a lot more passionate.
I consider it a curse. I can't NOT grab on to certain things and turn them into something in my head and once it's in my head it will show up on paper eventually :frowns: .

Cross, did you work on that one more since the last time you posted it? It was good before but it seems like it flows better than I remember. I like the artwork to.

I've changed a 100 times
I stole the art work all but the Cross 7

It came to me
like poetry
in my sleep
to wash away
the dust I have worn
like halloween makeup
and germinate
long dormant
seeds of hope
