Planted watermelons

Anybody ever plant watermelons with a notill drill? Planted 8 lb of watermelon and 4 lb of cantelope mixed with sunflowers.

Why did you mix the sunflowers in? Last time i planted a bunch of melons........it didn't rain again for months....;(

Done it at work, i get payed to plant the sunflowers. Threw the melons in for the heck off it.

I have a contract with Arkansas Game and Fish. We make food plots and maintain a large tract of land for them.

? Dove don't eat melons Ain't no other reason to plant sunflowers around here. Perfectly legal.

Mostly any wildlife will eat sunflowers. Deer and Elk love them, Bear will come for miles to eat them high protein high fat. Ole CB would have a hell of a time with his dog Rube shooting tree rats off them sunflower heads.
